About ShortTrackEquipment.com
Short track is a sport of millimeters, angles, pressure, feel, and precision. The equipment matters — and so does knowing how to choose it, set it up, and maintain it.
ShortTrackEquipment.com was created for exactly that reason.
Based in the Netherlands, we are an independent specialist shop focused entirely on short track speed skating. Our goal is simple: offer carefully selected equipment that we know, trust, and would use ourselves.
Equipment Chosen with Purpose
We don't try to carry everything.
Our collection is intentionally focused on products that have earned their place through real use on the ice and at the workbench.
You'll find Carpenter Boot Company boots, along with carefully selected blades, sharpening equipment, stones, tools, and accessories from Skate-Tec, Nagano Skate, and other leading short-track specialists.
Every product has a purpose. Every product has been selected because we believe it can help a skater train, compete, or work on their equipment with greater confidence.
If we don't believe in it, we don't sell it.
Built for European Short Track
ShortTrackEquipment.com is based in the Netherlands and was created to give European skaters and clubs better access to specialized short-track equipment.
That means European stock, faster access to the products we carry, and support from someone who understands the equipment beyond what is written on the box.
Whether you're trying to determine the correct boot size, choose a blade, understand a setup, or find the right sharpening equipment, you can ask.
You'll get an answer from someone who actually works with this equipment.
Tested on the Ice. Refined at the Workbench.
What makes this shop different isn't the number of brands on the website.
It's the experience behind what gets selected.
The owner of ShortTrackEquipment.com is also the designer behind Carpenter Boot Company and an experienced short-track equipment technician who works directly with elite-level skaters and equipment.
Products are evaluated where they actually matter: on the ice, through training and competition, and at the workbench where equipment is measured, tuned, sharpened, adjusted, and prepared for performance.
How does it fit? How does it perform on the ice? How does it respond to tuning and adjustment? How does it hold up through the demands of repeated training? And, ultimately, does it deserve a place in a short-track skater's repertoire of high-performance equipment and tools?
Those are the questions that determine what makes it onto this website.
A Specialist Shop for a Specialist Sport
Short track deserves more than a small section inside a general skate store.
It deserves people who understand why a millimeter matters.
That is what ShortTrackEquipment.com is built around: specialized equipment, carefully selected, tested through real-world use, and backed by genuine experience in the sport.
Skating in North America? CBC boots are also available through Carpenter Boot Company (USA/Canada).
If it ships from our warehouse, it's equipment we are prepared to stand behind.
That's our standard.
